Headmaster Shares Summer Reading Thoughts on Blog

Byron Hulsey ’86, Woodberry Forest School's headmaster, recently shared his summer reading journey on his blog, What Matters Most. His stack of books included Excellent Sheep: The Miseducation of the American Elite by William Deresiewicz. The Woodberry Forest faculty read this book over the summer, and the school will welcome its author in November to offer the annual Fitzpatrick Lecture. He also read other nonfiction titles like The Road to Character by David Brooks and Transforming Leadership by James MacGregor Burns and works of fiction like The Devil's Star by Jo Nesbo and Fall of Giants by Ken Follet.

Read What Matters Most and take Dr. Hulsey up on his invitation to suggest books for his next stack of summer reading.
