Preparations for New Faculty Enhancement Program Begin

Representatives from FolioCollaborative spent the day at Woodberry Forest School on March 31, 2015, to launch training of administrators and department chairs in the Folio system for faculty growth. In fall 2015 Woodberry will begin using the process, developed by teachers at Maryland's McDonogh School, to facilitate conversations about teaching among faculty members.

"Folio promises to enhance the collaborative dimension of teaching at Woodberry Forest," says Matt Boesen, who will serve as Woodberry's dean of faculty beginning in the summer of 2015. "The system will promote faculty growth and support the school's mission of providing students with an outstanding classroom experience."
