Summer Solstice Brings Sunshine to Forest
Woodberry Forest's summer denizens are beating the heat at the Outdoor Pool on the first day of summer, June 20, 2012. Rains earlier in the week rendered the pool's water especially refreshing.
With the temperatures expected to soar into the upper 90s, the hottest day of the year so far, campus residents are cooperating with Dominion Power to save energy during high-demand hours by turning off lights and saving the dishes and laundry until after dark.
Woodberry Forest School is an exceptional private school community for high school boys in grades nine through twelve. It is one of the top boarding schools in the United States and one of the only all-boys, all-boarding schools in the country.
