Tigers Cross Paths at Scout Ranch

Edward Laney ’17 and Parker Jacobs ’17 crossed paths unexpectedly this summer while hiking on the remote trails of Philmont Scout Ranch in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico this summer. The Woodberry classmates were participating in separate eleven-day boy-led backpacking treks through the 214-square-mile Boy Scout facility when they and their fathers spotted one another and posed for a photo.
