Summer Reading List Announced

Woodberry Forest School's 2014 all-school summer reading selection has been announced. Students and faculty will read Mitchell Zuckoff's Lost in Shangri-La, the true story of the rescue of three plane crash survivors, all US Army soldiers, from a remote New Guinea island during World War II.

Students will also be required to select two other titles from the 2014 Summer Reading List.

Most summer reading titles are available as hard copies in the William H. White Library and via the OverDrive digital collection, an online service which will allow students to check out books and read them on a mobile device or computer. Woodberry's subscription to OverDrive is provided, in part, through monies from the following endowed funds: Class of '54 William H. White Library and Information Technology Endowment Fund, The G. Joseph Vining '55 Fund, and The Harriet M. Witt Library Fund.
