Chinese Teacher Named Vice President of Teachers Association

Scott Navitsky, Woodberry Forest School's teacher of Chinese, has been named to a two-year term as vice president of the Chinese Language Teachers Association of Virginia. The organization, with over a hundred active members, aims to to facilitate Chinese language learning from Kindergarten to graduate level programs by offering conferences, working with FLAVA (Foreign Language Association of Virginia), and facilitiating scholarships for Chinese language students and professional development stipends for educators.
