Photo Show Features Irish Landscapes

A new exhibition of photography, Landsculpt: Ireland, opens Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 6:45 pm in the Upper Walker Gallery. Please join photographer Linda Hogan for a reception and view her color and black-and-white images. She photographed the Irish landscape during her summer, 2012, trip to Ireland when she accompanied her husband, English teacher and varsity golf coach Marc Hogan, on his sabbatical.

Of her experience traveling in Ireland with her camera, Linda remarked, "I looked for places where humans sculpted the land or where the elements of wind, water, and life force pressed in on human endeavor -- places where the human and the natural collide in beauty."
