Woodberry Team Takes Medals in Virginia Science Olympiad

Woodberry brought a small but select team to the Virginia State Science Olympiad on April 24, 2010 at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, VA, earning medals in six events, and finishing eleventh overall.

Each of the seven team members who participated earned at least one medal. Fifth former Joey Park led the way among Woodberry competitors by winning three medals.

The Virginia State Science Olympiad is a non-profit which seeks to engage and challenge students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through various levels of team-based competitive tournaments.
